We know we said that cards not issued in the US don’t tend to work, but depending on who issued your card, they might.

One thing that people often miss when it comes to watching Hulu in India? The fact that they need to have some funds on the card they are signing up on, even if it’s for just a trial.

Why? As Hulu needs to take a small sum from your account to verify you so that you don’t keep signing up for free trials. For that, it takes a small sum from your card, which it then instantly refunds.

How to Get Hulu in India on Apple Devices

If you want to watch Hulu on Apple devices, you have two options.

You either download Google Chrome and enable “Desktop Site,” or you create a new iCloud account with your location in the US.

To change the location of your Apple App Store to make Hulu available in India for download, firstly log out of your iCloud account.

When you do so, simply created an account with your location in the US.

On Android devices, this is slightly different.

Here, you can either watch from your Chrome and enable “Desktop Site” or you can change the location of your store, which you might have to do anyway if you want to register and don’t have the right card.

1. Go into your Play Store.
2. Press on the 3 little bars on the top-left of the screen.
3. Press on Account. You should now see an option to switch your store to a different location.

Platforms like Apple TV, Roku, or Chromecast don’t support VPN services, which is an issue.

Already have one?

1. Go to your current Amazon account in the web browser.
2. Click on Accounts & Lists and then on Manage Your Account and Content.
3. Change your region to be in the US.
4. Go to your Amazon Fire TV device. Select Settings and My Account.
5. Deregister and sign back into your account.
